Cardiff, the enchanting Welsh city, has a secret. Beneath its cobbled streets and cozy teashops lies a swirling vortex of time and space. And guess what? It’s all thanks to a certain blue police box that’s bigger on the inside. Yes, my fellow Earthlings, we’re talking about “Doctor Who”!
Why Cardiff?
Back in 2005, when flip phones were cool and MySpace ruled the internet, “Doctor Who” made a triumphant return to our screens. But where did the TARDIS decide to park itself? None other than Cardiff! Forget Paris or New York; the Doctor chose Cardiff as their cosmic pit stop. Why? Well, rumor has it that the Welsh cakes were out of this world.

Roath Lock Studios: This is where the magic happens. The Doctor’s adventures are filmed right here. If you peek through the studio windows, you might spot a Dalek sipping tea with Torchwood agents. (Okay, maybe not, but a Whovian can dream!)
Cardiff Bay: The TARDIS loves a good waterfront view. Cardiff Bay’s got it all: alien invasions, Cybermen lurking near the Millennium Centre, and the occasional Weeping Angel photobombing tourists.
Coal Hill School: Remember Clara and Danny? They taught at Coal Hill School. And guess what? It’s a real place! Next time you’re in Cardiff, pop by and see if the TARDIS is parked in the staff car park.
Season 14: What’s in the TARDIS?
The Fifteenth Doctor: Ncuti Gatwa steps into those iconic boots. Imagine the TARDIS wardrobe trying to find the right outfit for a new Doctor. Bowties? Fezzes? Maybe a funky Hawaiian shirt?
Ruby Sunday: Our newest companion, played by Millie Gibson. She’s got sass, curiosity, and a knack for accidentally setting Daleks on fire. (Oops!)
